Writer's workshop is an excellent way to build upon existing writing foundations and learn additional skills to help develop your creative and expository writing while having fun and meeting new people.

Workshops will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays starting the week of July 5th-July 28th.

Elementary Levels: 2nd and 3rd graders from 3-4 and 4th and 5th graders from 4-5

Middle Levels: 6th and 7th grades from 3-4 and 8th and 9th grades from 4-5

Upper Levels TBD based on interest

The cost is $35.00 per class

LEGO Mindstorms is a terrific, easily accessible, introduction to robotics, and a lot of fun! Kids who learn robotics do something they love, learn something they need and dream about careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Students will build a vehicle to be programmed to autonomously complete a series of tasks. They will learn to use a range of mechanical principles to adapt their vehicle to perform these tasks.

Students need not have any previous experience with coding or programming.

To use the BOOST, you will need an iPad with the LEGO boost app installed, and to use the EV3 they would need a computer with the MINDSTORMS software downloaded.

The camp will be on July 12th-16th.

Grades 2-4  will meet from 9-11 am

Grades 5-8 will meet from 1-3 pm

The cost for the 10-hour camp is $200.00
